Sonic Postcards
Sonic Postcards is a creative education project devised and delivered by Sonic Arts Network, and takes place in schools throughout the UK, encouraging pupils to engage with their sound environment and be creative with ICT. The website contains all the Sonic Postcards created by the pupils alongside their accompanying work, for example, films, images of art work and creative writing, as well as other information such as project details, teacher resources, press and partner information.

The Collection
Sound and Music has a unique collection of scores, recordings and background material from the UK. Most of the Collection (formerly the BMIC Collection) is of post-1960 and contemporary material, but it also encompasses music and sound from the earlier 20th century, stretching back to 1900. The Collection contains both published and unpublished works, including many pieces that are out of print or hard to obtain.

Adopt a Composer
The Adopt-a-Composer scheme pairs an amateur music group with an emerging composer, and over the following year the partnership collaborate to produce a new work especially for the group to première. You can follow the six pairings here as they tell us about their journey.

Voices
New Voices and Contemporary Voices was a scheme started by BMIC that provides print on demand scores from a roster of British composers for those looking for new music repertoire to programme, play or enjoy.
