David Thomas Broughton has been astounding UK audiences for over three years with his mesmerising improvisation, loop, song, comedy art weirdness. More recently he played in the US with Doveman, the project of Thomas Bartlett, New York's most in-demand pianist (Antony and the Johnsons, Bebel Gilberto, The National, Martha Wainwright, Yoko Ono). Doveman' s haunting creations transport you to a lone corner of a dusty wine bars. Sam Amidon, from Vermont, who plays in Doveman, produces some of his own inimitable takes on the classic Appalachian folk music that his family is steeped in.

This tour, Broughton brings Doveman and Amidon to the UK, both as a collaboration and performers in their own right.
