Project

New Departures was a series of events showcasing experimental new sounds. Designed as an exploration of sound art, drone music, electronic improvisation and underground film and visuals in an immersive and intimate atmosphere.

The series featured established international sound artists and experimental musicians, supported by up-and-coming UK practitioners and supplemented by abstract and esoteric and film and visuals.The series ran for two events, testing the appetite and viability for such content in London.
New Departures aimed to bridge the gap between un-initiated individuals excited and intrigued by new forms of artistic expression and more experienced followers and practitioners already orbiting the experimental music scene.
