I am a radio and sound artist, producer and senior radio lecturer at Canterbury Christ Church University and I’m researching Radio Art practice at CRISAP London University of the Arts.
My work has been exhibited in Holland, Spain Barcelona (MACBA), Canada Toronto Deep Wireless and the UK at The British Museum, The Sainsbury Centre, The Old Lookout, Burton Gallery, V22 and the Foundry as well as world wide on the ether.
As a founding producer I spent many years setting up arts station Resonance fm, I also sat as a director of the Community Media Association and CSR and set up South London Radio Arts Group. I produced an experimental music show You Are Hear (2002-10) as well as hundreds of other programmes aired on Resonance and Totally Radio plus a critically acclaimed podcast and a number of ongoing radio interventions.
I am currently working on Switch Off (Dead air) A PhD radio art research project which considers the possible future uses of the FM spectrum after it is abandoned by sanctioned broadcasters in the UK.
