JenJen's debut album, a smoky haze of lazy guitars, leftfield beats, Native percussion and haunting strings, whalesong & vocals; has been recorded in Sedona, LA & Maui; mixed and mastered by Tim Oliver at Real World, is out on Contact Media with distribution by State 51.
JENJEN has been compared to Natasha Atlas, Joni Mitchell. Melanie, Joan Baez, Enya, Kate Bush, Portishead and Liz Fraser of the Cocteau Twins.
JENJEN sang & co-produced her band Snipe, rated by John Peel, and quoted as being "the next best thing to come out of Bristol after Portishead and Massive Attack" (Logo Mag 03) with bassist Paul Boswell of the Rhythmites.
Aka DJ Mis-chief, JENJEN was one of few female DJ's in the 90's, playing the global circuit alongside many top DJ's including Grandmaster Flash, the Freestylers, Scratch Perverts and Daddy Gee (Massive Attack).
