Radek Rudnicki
Experimental composer and sound designer born in 1982 in Rzeszow, Poland. After being granted a scholarship at the University of Abertay Dundee in Scotland, emigrated to UK. He graduated in May 2006 with Honours Degree. The following year he was awarded Masters by Research in Music Technology at the University of York.
Radoslaw Rudnicki has been making music since 2000. Throughout that time he composed pieces in various genres as Koshi Mazaki, produced remixes for Nude Music (Germany), Katapulto (Poland) and Tidy Kid (USA) among others. He also was working as a sound designer and music composer with www.pixeloza.com. As a result of that cooperation sites like www.koshimazaki.com site has been made.
Radek is also interested and was involved in collaboration with artists from various media including contemporary dance (Marie Ronold Mathisen - Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds), visual art (Jakub Hader -Lomografia.pl and Hedonskate) as well as performers (Enrico Bertelli). At present Radek has started his PhD studies in Digital Composition under Ambrose Field’s supervision at the University of York. He is also producing music, making sounds and playing with local musicians. His latest interests include interactive audio and video, which is to break barriers and take his music further.
