Jon Sterckx is a versatile percussionist and tabla player based in Stroud, near Bristol, South West UK.
Jon plays a range of percussion instruments and has worked across a wide range of musical styles, from Indian classical music and other traditional musical forms to contemporary experimental & 'fusion' styles, theatre & dance collaborations, and solo multi-percussion live sampling performances.
Jon performs & teaches Tabla, Indian music & percussion in South West UK and is an Associate Lecturer at University of Plymouth.

Using a range of percussion instruments, vocal percussion & live sampling, UK based percussionist Jon Sterckx creates live multi-percussion rhythmic soundscapes - 'Drumscapes'.
Tabla rhythms, Arabic drumming, Cajon & vocal percussion are played, sampled, mixed & processed live on stage, creating a live multi percussion multi-track performance of highly energised rhythmical journeys.
