Tone Poem produce spontaneous experimental soundscapes that are a construct of random empathetic associations between the artists; we use our instruments within a framework of coherence and confusion. Contributors vary but consist of a core of two artists playing an effect enhanced acoustic guitar and a moog synthesizer.
Our sets are unplanned collaborations. All our recordings are first take with post production work limited to compression. The moods and emotions expressed vary over the time of the set so performances are unique although the soundscapes often resonate with similarities.
We hope our music inspires others to explore the poetry of tones however people wish to express themselves. We welcome collaborations with other artists from any medium.
