EMFEB's remit is to promote live classical music to new audiences: EMFEB fuses classical music with Dance, Drama, Visual Art, Circus, Physical Performers, Literature and Expressive Art. EMFEB produces new and pioneering performance pieces which demonstrate that classical music is for anyone, regardless of education, privilege or upbringing. EMFEB performs works from established classical composers, and strives to include original world premieres at every event. EMFEB promotes works by underperformed British composers, and programmes music neglected in the wider classical industry. EMFEB believe in taking challenging classical music events to new venues and spaces.
