Profiles
Oscar studied composition with Malcolm Singer at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where he graduated with first class honours and gained a Master in Composition with distinction. Since September 2006, Oscar is a research student at the Royal Academy of Music under the supervision of Simon Bainbridge.
Òscar has been commissioned among others by the Aldeburgh Festival, the Philharmonia Orchestra for its Music of Our Time series, the Schubert Ensemble, the Orchestra of the Swan, the Valencian Music Institute, the Trio Rebec, the Sounds Underground Ensemble and percussion group Kontakte.
As a conductor, he has worked with various ensembles and has appeared in London's Warehouse, Guildhall School of Music and Drama, The Menuhin Hall, Segovia Summer Festival, Ávila and in Madrid's Círculo de Bellas Artes.
