Bivvy Broadcast - Dawn Scarfe

Dawn Scarfe - Bivvy Broadcast
3 May - 4 May

Dawn is in a forest somewhere in England, streaming live sound through the night whilst trying to sleep in a bivvy on the forest floor. Her guerilla-style broadcasts are set up after dark in unfamiliar surroundings, using a small microphone, lots of batteries and tenuous 3G connection. By listening you can help keep vigil over her situation.

Forthcoming Broadcasts

The stream will be live this weekend from 11pm Saturday 3rd May to 7am Sunday 4th May, marking International Dawn Chorus Day. You can listen to the full stream on the Bivvy Broadcast page, or between 2.45 - 6.45am on Basic FM.

At daybreak between 5 - 6am the stream will be shared with Reveil: a 24hr broadcast relaying live sound from a network of streamers around the world, tracking the sunrise west, from microphone to microphone. It will air on Resonance FM, Wave Farm's WGXC 90.7-FM and at SoundCamp in London.

On Saturday 17th May another bivvy broadcast will be live from 11pm-7am and can be heard on Soundart Radio 102.5 FM from midnight till 7am.
