A series of national symposia and associated research projects to explore and develop creative solutions for delivering composition in schools
Minute of Listening is a new schools-based initiative encouraging pupils and teachers to engage in 60 seconds of focused listening each day. From January to March 2012 over 20,000 children in 70 schools will explore a huge range of music and sound.

Sound and Music has worked with partner organisations in Belgium, Spain and Denmark to devise and deliver an international project which enables young people to explore and compare their sonic environments.
Sonic Postcards is a creative education project that takes place in schools throughout the UK, encouraging pupils to engage with their sound environment and be creative with ICT.
