Composing for Voice

This group explored vocal music in all its forms during the week with a focus on experimental music-theatre. Drawing on modern classical music as well as jazz, folk, pop and world music, the aim was to explore theatre, songwriting, approaches to using words/lyrics, a wild array of vocal techniques and chamber ensemble writing, working closely with a fantastic vocalist, percussionist and pianist. Led by Kerry Andrew.
