The Adopt a Composer scheme pairs amateur choirs, orchestras, and ensembles with a composer for one year.

September sees the arrival of the BE OPEN Sound Portal in Trafalgar Square as part of the London Design Festival 2012. Sound and Music has commissioned five sound artists and composers to present work in this unique structure.
