Sound and Music

I've been blown away by this fantastic field recording of ice sheets over a lake in Germany made by Andreas Bick. There's also a longer recording available on Kalerne by Marc Namblard with microphones placed over the ice.  They include elemental cracking and huge tone like sounds moving at different speeds, made through dispersion of sound through the ice sheet- in a similar way to a huge gong. My theory, however is fish with synthesizers.  Listen with speakers/headphone with good bass reproduction if you can.
