Discover

We support composers to grow and engage new audiences and communities across the UK. To share their ideas, celebrate new ways of making and highlight the diversity of individuals working today.

Our online platforms, artist-led events, digital commissions and data-driven campaigns aim to challenge perceptions, increase access and enable more people to enjoy new music.

British Music Collection

Every day new composers join our digital archive, becoming part of national platform that showcases music and sound.

We commission a diverse range of guest curators, contributors and collaborators, to explore the collection and the stories behind the music.

Our purpose is simple, to support those producing events, and to help them share their work with new audiences.

Since 2008, we have supported some of the most exciting, visionary, and experimental composers in the UK; working across genres to discover their potential and push the boundaries of modern composition.

From electronica, jazz, folk, improvisation, traditional musics and much more these individuals make music and sound that shapes the modern world.
