We Move From Time To Time & Be With Me
Somebody somewhere decides to resurrect Virginia Woolf and give her the experience she missed out on – motherhood. The question is why? I never wanted to be a mother. What kind of a mother did that make me? We Move From Time to Time is a theatrical cabaret which explores the relationship of a well-known author to an unknown story.
How do you ask for forgiveness when part of you is still in denial? Be With Me is about the pain of relaxing one’s defenses and remembering what one would prefer to forget. A story of one woman’s conscience collectively told by three women.
Both performances have been further developed in collaboration with dancer and choreographer Alice Tatge, most recently seen at the Hayward Gallery doing her alternative guided tour to the Pippilotti Rist exhibition, Laura Atherton who regularly performs with Imitating the Dog and live artist/performer Sarah Delmonte.
