Composers Jacob Thompson- Bell, Emma-Ruth Richards and Michael Betteridge invite you to sit, stand or browse their collective work at the RNCM.

This informal event combines chamber music, song, graphic scores, visuals and choreography to offer an immersive and original take on the idea of a concert. There’ll be lots of pieces, in lots of styles. There’ll be singing, playing, processing, painting and drinking (at the bar), with musicians performing all around the Brodsky area. Anyone can turn up and find a table or just stay for part of the performance.

The event forms part of New Music North West 2012, which features work by a large number of composers and artists based in the north west of England, over one week (3- 9 March).

Play the tracks below to hear some of our individual compositions. There's also lots more information about our collective work, as well as as live events we're curating, at:collectivesandcuriosities.wordpress.com
