Dance & Digital Interactions Course at Summer Intensives
Exploring potential relationships between the solo performing body and digital technology, this workshop will lead participants through dialogues and processes that have developed across Bridget Fiske and Andrew Crofts collaborative practices.
Particular focus will be given to the possibilities for transformation of self and the revelation of the internal landscape of the performer through the camera, pre-recorded media and real-time video effects using software package ‘Isadora’. Participants will work through guided improvisations and tasks to create short live and digital solo outcomes.
This workshop is designed and delivered by Bridget Fiske (dance artist) and Andrew Crofts (media/lighting/technical designer).
