COVID-19: Free Zoom Tutorials and Chat Sessions for Composers

The Sound and Music Team waving via Zoom
Fridays (weekly and online)
Produced by:
Sound and Music

In response to the current isolation and financial insecurity imposed on freelancers by the outbreak of COVID-19, Sound and Music will be trialling weekly chat sessions and tutorials for composers, artists and music educators on the video conferencing tool Zoom.

In these sessions, we'll be demonstrating Zoom's uses for remote working, online tutorials and more, as well as hosting more open discussions about how Sound and Music can best support the community of composers and music creators in the UK at this time.

These 90 minute sessions will take place every Friday lunchtime; see below for specific times.

We anticipate the focus of these sessions may change over time to cover topics most useful to the community. If possible, we will aim to share recordings of these sessions here too.

This is a new undertaking by the Sound and Music team as we adapt to new circumstances, so please bear with us as we realise the project.

We are also open to ideas, suggestions and volunteers for future sessions!

So if you have an idea please contact us:

Please book your place for upcoming sessions using the links below; we will update this page with further sessions in due course.

Bear in mind that each session has a maximum of 100 spaces including Sound and Music staff, and spaces will be automatically allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
