About Sound and Music

Sound and Music is the UK’s national organisation for new music, highly influential in the cultural landscape of the UK and of international standing, working across a breadth of musical genres and styles and always championing individual creativity, artistic talent and the power of listening.

Sound and Music’s vision is to create a world where new music and sound prospers, transforming lives, challenging expectations and celebrating the work of its creators. Its mission is to maximise the opportunities for people of all ages to create and enjoy new music.
